Eldereese aims to make its websites usable by the broadest practical audience, including visitors who use assistive technology.
Our approach
For newly developed Eldereese static websites, we aim to follow widely accepted web-accessibility practices, including semantic HTML, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, descriptive page titles, text alternatives for meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, responsive layouts, and forms that use explicit labels.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as a technical reference point and aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable for new or substantially redesigned sites.
Third-party and archival content
Some Eldereese properties contain historical documents, scanned publications, photographs, embedded third-party content, older PDFs, externally hosted services, or legacy web material that may not fully conform to current accessibility guidance. We continue to improve access as material is revised, republished, or remediated.

Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time certification. Site changes, new third-party services, and newly digitized historical material may require additional review.
